NV 8 Rows Sparkling, South Eastern Australia
Pale straw with youthful hues, this sparkling wine is crystal clear with a fine persistent bead. The bouquet shows lifted citrus and strawberry fruit characters. The palate exhibits fresh berry fruit flavours, soft and creamy light yeast characters with a fine structure. It finishes with a lively effervescence and a crisp natural tangy acid finish.
2025 Forest Edge Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, Orange NSW
Quite pale as a young wine, which is typical of Sauvignon Blanc that hasn’t seen oak. Lifted varietal herbaceous notes with tropical passionfruit in the background. A lively palate and at 12.5% alcohol, a lovely softness to the mouth feel. The talc and passionfruit notes give a flavoursome palate aided by a juicy acidity. Excellent drinking as the weather warms up.
2025 Pinot Gris, Beechworth VIC
Pinot Gris grapes can be quite coloured, even pink in some years; this wine is a lovely youthful yellow/green. The aromas are of ripe pear, ginger and white florals, with nashi pear and beeswax flavours on the palate carried by a zesty acidic backbone. Excellent fruit weight supported by phenolic texture from the skin contact results in a delightful Pinot Gris that just asks to be consumed.
