2022 Twenty70 White Blend
Sustainable & vegan friendly
Hunter Valley, NSW
The wine has a more developed hue from its time on skins, and the perfume jumps out of the glass. Lemon verbena and key lime pie notes on the nose. Crunchy, sappy phenolics are the driver on the palate, adding interest to the subtle lime cordial fruit profile and extending the length of the palate. This wine is made for chilled beach drinking with fresh fish and chips eaten straight from the butchers paper, or with your favourite cheese board selection.
Our Twenty70 range is vegan friendly and has been crafted with sustainability in mind, in a Sustainable Winegrowing Australia Certified Winery.

Wine Profile
Winemaker Comments
Our first vintage as the owners of the Oakey Creek vineyard meant that we had more grapes to play with from this great site. This field blend white has been made in the same style as a red wine,
fermented on skins for 7 days. It is a blend of the three white
varieties grown on Oakey Creek –Verdelho, Semillon and
Chardonnay. All were picked at the same time and fermented
together, with each variety helping the other for a blend of acidity, ripeness, and flavour.
Food Pairing
Pair with fresh fish and chips, or your favourite cheese board
selection.
Production
The earliest free run juice was then held in tank, and the heavier pressings in old French oak puncheons (500L) without any sulphur additions. The tank and barrel components were blended, with a minimal sulphur addition prior to bottling.
Drink
Drinking very well now or over the short term.
