The Hunter Valley enjoyed another stress free vintage in 2018. Low rainfall throughout 2017 meant low foliage and early fruit ripening. Picking commencing on 15th January with all the Semillon blocks being picked by the end of January and saw some higher sugars than normal around the Hunter Valley.

Vinification
Harvesting was all done by hand. The fruit was crushed, chilled and pressed immediately. Neutral yeasts were used for the fermentation and bottled in May. No oak and no malolactic ferment, only stainless steel.
