The older, large format French oak integrates perfectly with sweetness and fine tannins. The fruit spectrum for Graveyard Shiraz is about red cherries and almost Pinot-like Campari notes.
A true Hunter Valley Shiraz in character with soft, sweet plum pastille fruit notes. Verona Vineyard Shiraz is always characterised by the soft sweet plum pastille fruit note.
Classic Hunter Valley red fruit with bramble spice on the nose. The ripe berry fruit carries onto the palate, with the natural fruit acid and fine tannin giving great length.

Deep red colour with a trace of brick-red in the rim. There are plum jam and unusually spicy aromas, plus some leathery aged complexities.
As this wine had 50% whole bunches in the ferment, the colour has medium density, but with excellent purple edges. The bunch ferment gives a briar wood/ undergrowth fruit aroma and combines well with the background vanillin oak. The savoury medium bodied palate has red cherry elements to it.

Aromas are red fruit – cherry and red spice with some vanillin, continuing on the initial flavours with lovely ‘weight’. Ripe fruit/ripe tannins and subtle oak from the 12 months in new French oak.
