TOP 5 RED STAR WINERY ⭐
Brokenwood has once again been named a Top 5 Red Star Winery in the 2027 Halliday Wine Companion.
Those shiny red stars represent more than a decade of consistency, craftsmanship and excellence. It’s an honour reserved for wineries that continually produce outstanding wines across their range, year after year.
As Halliday explains, a Top 5 Red Star is awarded to wineries with a long-standing track record of excellence, typically maintaining a 5-star rating for 10 consecutive years and producing multiple wines rated 95 points or higher.
In other words? “The best of the best” 🍷

Last Friday, the Hunter Valley came together for the 2026 PKF Hunter Valley Wine Show, and we’re thrilled to have taken home five trophies, including Best White Wine of the Show for our 2019 ILR Reserve Semillon.
