The first release of Clarendon Vineyard Shiraz from this acclaimed dry grown vineyard in the Clarendon sub-region on McLaren Vale. First planted in 1971, the vineyard is situated on the rolling hills of Clarendon, a sub-region on the northern edge of McLaren Vale in South Australia.
A dry lead up to the 2020 harvest through spring and over the 19/20 summer, resulted in lower crops and earlier ripening. Things really sped up with the heat during February.
Wonderful ripe fruit characters and balanced with fine, long tannins.
Pairs well with red meat dishes.
Drinking well now but will reward with medium to long term
