Single Vineyard Premium Mixed White & Red (6pk)
1 bottle each of:
2016 Forest Edge Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, Orange, NSW
On release a very bright colour with pale green tints. Bottled and released early, the aromas show lovely talc and herbal Sauvignon Blanc lift. Definitely no green asparagus notes. A lively palate with passionfruit, talcy citrus flavours and fresh limejuice acidity. Perfect weight at 13% alcohol giving a long finish. Excellent drinking as the weather warms up.

2009 Maxwell Vineyard Semillon, Hunter Valley, NSW
This wine has a beautiful colour, and perfect grapes/ripening means nothing interferes with the gentle aging. As the wine warms up, the citrus and some florals come in. Beeswax and then ‘toast’ will come in a few years. Quite often a ‘restrained’ palate but plenty of citrus pith and perfect acidity. A great follow up to the 2008 and a wine that has a long future in front of it. Enjoy.

2015 Indigo Vineyard Chardonnay, Beechworth, VIC
The Beechworth ‘terroir’ has a distinctive fruit character of pear/peach fruit. The oak has minimal impact by using older French oak and mainly puncheons. The warm year has meant less citrus lift but has bran meal notes from the wild ferment and extended lees contact. The palate is quite rich with zesty acid line through to the finish.

2014 Vegas Block Shiraz, Hunter Valley, NSWA beautiful colour, not quite as dense as some of its siblings from 2014. There was 30% whole bunch that was not destalked, with the resultant colour giving a deeper purple tint. Fragrant brambly and red fruit aromas that we had from 2014 vintage. The addition of Pinot Noir and Trebbiano produces a medium body, silky palate with fine tannins and acid. Low oak impact from the puncheons add a vital flavour layer.
2014 Rayner Vineyard Shiraz, McLaren Vale, SA
Typical dense McLaren Vale colour and purple hues. Exotic blackberry pastille, plum fruit nose with vanillin oak in the background. Sweet fruit entry on the palate, Turkish Delight flavours and fullbodied mouth feel. Alcohol plays a part of this style of Shiraz, certainly not too much. Enjoy in its youth or allow it to develop into a lovely chocolate/earth/
tobacco mature red.
2014 Wildwood Rd Cabernet Sauvignon, Margaret River, WA
Excellent medium to dark density colour with purple hues at 2 years of age. Lifted cassis, blue berry fruit aromas and vanillin oak background. These carry to the palate with finegrained tannins from perfectly ripe fruit, sage notes and cedar from high quality French oak. Typical Cabernet Sauvignon tobacco on the finish giving a long after taste. While built for longterm aging, the pure fruit flavours mean the wine can be enjoyed over the short term.
