Brokenwood Mixed White (12pk)
3 bottles each of:
2015 Semillon, Hunter Valley, NSW
The cool year has resulted in more grass/hay fruit characters. The colour is perfect, lots of luminous green tints. There are citrus notes to the aromas as well. Lighter, fresh lime and lemongrass flavours on release as a young wine. Great acidity, and the 10.5% alcohol is perfect for summer drinking.

2016 Friends Selection Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon, South Eastern Australia
Bright youthful colour with green edges. Sauvignon Blanc lift to the aromas, grassy and some tropical notes. No oak treatment for this wine, relying purely on the citrus purity of the fruit. Terrific fruit concentration on the palate with a zesty acid back bone. While this is the perfect summer wine it really is a wine for anytime. Enjoy.
2016 Pinot Gris, Beechworth, VIC
Aromas of honeysuckle and pear. Richness from the 13.5% alcohol and some phenolic ‘grip', but not oily in any sense. The tropical fruit flavours are nicely balanced by a zesty acid.
2015 Umpires Chardonnay, Cowra, NSW
A superb bright yellow/green colour, even after oak aging. Citrus and tropical aromas, with plenty of primary fruit as a young wine. The oak sits in the background and adds a char/smoky element. Good weight on the palate and a long finish. Although subtle oak, its there and will integrate with the pineapple/mango fruit with further age.
